Q: Is my order/auction ready for pickup?

A: If you've chosen to pick your order up at the store, please wait until you've received a phone call from our team. This allows our team to process and pick your order. This is especially the case with NHL auctions. Please allow up to three days processing before inquiring on such orders. Our team is always available to check the status of your order.

Q: Can you take pictures with the athlete?

A: In most circumstances, yes you can! Although we would like accommodate all photo requests, occasionally an athlete will request not to have photos taken for any number of reasons. It usually is related to a scheduling conflict such as a flight or another event to be at later in the day. Whenever an athlete makes such a request, we do our best to accommodate their needs. 

Q: Is an autograph included in Photo-Op tickets?

A: No. A photo-op ticket is only for the photo with the athlete. A regular ticket is required on top of the photo-op price in order to get an autograph on your photo.

Q: Where is your store located?

A: Our store is located between Keele St. and Jane St. on Steeles Ave West. We are right across the street from York University. From Steeles, look for the blue sign reading "University Business Center". We are Unit #1.

Q: Do you sell sports equipment?

A: Yes and no. Our store specializes in sports memorabilia. While we are able to make you any hockey jersey (within 2 weeks), we don't have pads or skates. At times we have equipment in stock however, these are intended for signing purposes and should not be used in a game. All of our sticks, helmets, skates, gloves, etc. are signed and considered high value. You will damage the item and decrease its value if used in a game format.

Q: Will you guys authenticate my signed item?

A: No. A.J. Sports World is not an authenticating company. We hologram and give certificates of authenticity on all products we sell and offer holograms for live signings. If accidentally torn off, or lost, there is a process to get it re-authenticated at your own expense. Please contact our customer service team for more details.

Q: Does my purchase come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) ? 

Whether you purchase a ticket for a signing event or purchase an item from our website, every item sold from A.J. Sports World comes with a COA. If the signing is public, cards will most often have the date and player name on the card. If the item is a jersey, the card will show a photo of the player signing a jersey. We also utilize generic COA cards.

Q: What is a hologram for? 

As well as the COA, every item that leaves our store will have a tamper proof hologram with our company logo on it. If the player happens to be an exclusive athlete, these hologram will come in a matching set where one will be attached to the item and one to the card.  

Q: Do you buy, sell, and trade cards?

A: Yes! We are a brick and mortar shop that carries all the latest product from Upper Deck, Panini, Topps, Bowman, In The Game, and more. If you are looking to sell your cards, contact Dan at ext. 300 to see if a trip with your collection is worth your time. While we do have a large number of single cards, knowing what you are coming in for helps all of us. Remember: While we do sell cards, we DO NOT open product for the purpose of selling hits.

Q: What jersey sizes do you have in stock?

A: In most cases, when the athletes sign with us we get them to sign the Jersey Numbers and then, as needed, have the autographed numbers professionally sewn on jerseys. Almost all of the jerseys we use are XL (59%) or Large (40%) but do not list or guarantee a specific size because we sell them as a collectibles rather than clothing. In the case where a customer wants a specific size, we are happy to try and accommodate if the stock is available. Shipping time may be delayed due to sewing process.
